Comparing the HOKA ARAHI to the MACH Running Shoes

My introduction to HOKA began with the Bondi model. Known for its exceptional cushioning, the Bondi quickly became my go-to shoe, not for running, but surprisingly for walking. Its plush comfort has been a game-changer for my recovery walks and casual strolls. It’s like walking on clouds, providing my feet with the much-needed respite they deserve after hard training sessions and races.

Discovering the Clifton

After falling in love with the Bondi, I tried the HOKA Clifton for my running sessions. The Clifton maintained the brand’s promise of comfort while offering a slightly more responsive ride. This makes it an excellent choice for my longer runs. It has balanced cushioning, and a lightweight design that helped me easily tackle miles, ensuring I remained comfortable throughout. However, through the years, the model changed. Most recently, I tried the Cliftons and felt that they pushed my foot to straighten my pronation, which I didn’t like.

Welcoming the Arahi 7 and Mach 6 into My Collection

However, recently, my curiosity led me to explore two models from HOKA that I hadn’t heard of before: the Arahi 7 and the Mach 6. I decided to give them both a try. I must say, they did not disappoint.

Falling for the Arahi 7

Ahari 7

The Arahi 7 caught my attention with its promise of stability and support, making it an intriguing option for my walk/run sessions. Upon trying them, I was not let down. The Arahi 7 offers a perfect blend of comfort and support, making them ideal for those days when I mix walking with running. They provide a stable ride without compromising the plush comfort HOKA is known for, making them a fantastic addition to my collection.

Speeding Up with the Mach 6

Mach 6

The Mach 6 was a revelation. Described as a responsive and fast shoe, it lived up to every word. The Mach 6 propelled me forward with each stride, offering an incredibly responsive ride.

Whether it’s tempo runs or interval training, the Mach 6 is a good solid shoe that is super comfortable.
