The other day, my SEO guy was saying that I needed to clean up this blog. He said I had way too many outdated stories and content. So, while I was cleaning up the content, I started to copy and paste it all in a word document.
Where it starts
The story starts in 2010 when I first started to run. I was 48. I had no idea how to start and what to do. The blog actually takes you through my journey and leads you to 2014, when I learned about triathlons and competed in my first one. It talks about my journey preparing for the NYC Marathon and it discusses my trainings and experiences with the sport.
The thing about me is, I was never an athlete. I don’t even think I am today. I hated gym and cut out as much as possible. Luckily, in High School, I was given the opportunity to have independent study for gym class.
Competing in swimming, cycling and running events is totally knew for me. I started later in life and am loving the whole experience. (My friends all think I’m nuts!)
The book is raw and you will get a deeper understanding of me and what I went through. There are real highs and real lows in the book and many of the stories were taken from this blog!
The Publisher
I’m so excited and thrilled that Meyer and Meyer Sports in Germany believe in my story. My goal is to help others get motivated and get out of their comfort zone.
The book is slated to be published in spring 2022. I’ll keep you updated on the progression and look forward to hearing your feedback.
I want you to know that I am grateful for all of my readers and I just want to say, THANK YOU!
