Skechers GOrun Forza 2 Review
The Skechers GOrun Forza 2, the official training shoe of elite marathoner Kara Goucher, is lightweight and responsive with added support for superior stability. I was excited to give it a test drive. Maybe Kara’s speed would rub off on me if I wore the shoes?
I tried the Skechers GOrun Forza 2 for about 30 miles or so. I ran in the rain. I ran with the Galloway LI group. And, I ran in various locations – track, boardwalk, road, trail. I just wanted to see how responsive the shoes were before I wrote about them.
I didn’t gain the speed of Kara Groucher, but I did gain a lot of comfort. The molded heel and inner support strap provides a stable and secure fit, which I like. The top of the shoe has sublimated air mesh which I love because my feet sweat in the sneaker and this enables the air to go around my foot.
The GOrun Forza 2 looks like a heavy shoe, but it’s super light and has great traction! It has a mid-foot foot strike which promotes efficiency in the stride and the offset is 8mm.
I really liked these shoes and love the comfort! They are extremely comfortable, wide toe box, high arch and snug heal. What more can you ask for?
