When recommending products or services, I’ve always lived by one rule—I’ll never suggest anything I haven’t personally tried. I won’t get involved or share it with you if I don’t believe in it. That’s why I’m so excited to talk about my experience with Tridot and Rundot. After two months of using Tridot, I can confidently say I’m impressed—and here’s why.
Getting Started with Tridot
For those unfamiliar with Tridot, it’s a training platform tailored specifically for triathletes. (RunDot is for runners.) The system uses data, technology, and coaching insights to create personalized plans for athletes, whether they are newbies or seasoned pros. I started using Tridot for my training, and to be honest, I was a little skeptical at first. We’ve all seen programs that make big promises, but Tridot has delivered.
Right away, I noticed how easy it was to get started. The onboarding process was straightforward, and it asked me for key metrics—like my fitness level and training goals—to design a customized training plan. I appreciated that it didn’t feel like a cookie-cutter or a one-size-fits-all. Instead, it gave me something that felt completely suited to me.
What Impressed Me the Most
What sets TriDot apart, in my opinion, is how smart and adaptable it is. The app uses data to track your progress and adjust your plan in real-time. It takes into account everything—from your pace and heart rate to how you’re feeling on any given day. If I had an off day, the program adjusted. If I crushed a workout, it recalibrated for my next session.
I also loved how it balanced my workload. It wasn’t about grinding myself into the ground; it was about training smarter, not harder. There’s a unique level of trust that comes with knowing your plan is backed by science and proven methodologies. And the results speak for themselves—I could see measurable improvement in my performance in just a couple of months.
Enter RunDot
Alongside TriDot, I dove into RunDot, its running counterpart. Much like TriDot, RunDot takes the guesswork out of training. Whether you’re prepping for a half marathon, marathon or trying to build speed, the platform creates a plan that meets you where you are and takes you where you want to go.
For me, RunDot became an invaluable partner in my return to running. After surgery and a long road of recovery, I needed a program that wouldn’t push me too hard but could steadily bring me back to form. RunDot delivered exactly that. It tracked my runs, adjusted to my recovery needs, and gave me confidence that I was on the right path—not overdoing it, but still making progress.
Why I Believe in These Tools
It’s rare to find services that truly live up to their promises, but TriDot and RunDot have done just that. My experience so far has been overwhelmingly positive, and I can already see the lasting impact they’re having on my fitness and confidence.
Is It Right for You?
Whether you’re a triathlete, runner, or anyone looking to level up your training, I’d highly recommend giving these programs a try. They’ve changed the way I approach my workouts, and I’m confident they can do the same for you. But remember, the best way to find out is to experience it for yourself—just like I did.
Here’s a snapshot of my upcoming season and how TriDot is helping me prepare:
- May and June – Two sprint triathlons to kick things off.
- July – Hoping for the Maggie Fischer Swim
- August – The Mackinac Island Swim, an 8.2-mile challenge that I’ve been building up to.
- Late Summer/Early Fall – Two hilly Olympic aqua bike events with Eventpower LI.
