The other day, I was scrolling through Instagram when I saw someone say that they made the top 100 list for triathlon blogs. Curious about the status of this blog, ATriathletesDiary.com, I went to the feed on Feedspot and scrolled down.
Excitedly, I didn’t have to scroll that far. We were #9 on the list of 100 top triathlon blogs in the world.
A Triathlete’s Diary Blog
I started this blog in 2009 when I first started running. I documented my running journey and a few years later when I started training for a triathlon, I did the same thing. I put my heart and soul into this blog and am very proud of where we have been and where we are going.
Feedspot Top 100 Blogs
The number one triathlon blog is Triathlete Magazine. This is followed by 220Tri, TriRadar, Triathlete Magazine Canada, and some others. The ones that follow us include USA Triathlon Blog, DC Rainmaker, and Beginner Triathlete.
These are all such amazing blogs and I am so grateful for the recognition from Feedspot.
From Couch Potato to Endurance Athlete
I don’t know if you know this but my book, From Couch Potato to Endurance Athlete, includes many of the stories that have appeared on my blog. When my SEO guy told me to remove stories because the site was way too big, I started to re-read all of the stories from the very beginning of my journey. I realized at that point that I had a story to tell and a way to motivate and inspire people to get outside of their comfort zone. That story became my latest book and it’s available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and wherever books are sold. It also comes in Kindle and an Audiobook on Audible.
Community involvement
If there is a story you would like to read on this blog, please write to me and let me know. Otherwise, I’ll continue to do what I do and review products for swim, biking and running. I’ll also share my experiences and I’ll have others share their experiences.
Thank you for reading my blog. I want you to know that I appreciate you!
